Click the "Create" button to file a new leave and fill-up entry form, then click "Submit" button to save and the system automatically sends the leave for approval. Click the hyperlink "Edit" to edit the entry or "Details" to view the details of leave entries. The leave-type Vacation Leave (VL) is based on credit points accumulated every month if the VL is not used.
To check the available leave balance, click the "Available Leave Balance w/ Pay" to know the available leave balance to use. The VL filing is less than the number of credit points available; they need to file a separate filing for request of credit points that are subject for approval; once approved, they can now continue the filing of leave. The system automatically checks the request VL for additional credit points if the negative VL credit point has been approved by the department head to proceed with the VL filing.
